Approach
Starting therapy can be a difficult process, and can bring up many concerns. I help clients to address problems collaboratively, coupling my expertise and experience with your knowledge of your struggles and desire to change. Through the use of evidence-based principles, sessions are tailored to focus on solutions in a short-term, collaborative, and empowering manner.
I'm often reminded of wise words I received from another therapist.
"Being in therapy is hard."
My goal isn't necessarily to make therapy easier (though I admit, humor and fun can be an important part of the process) but above all, it is to ensure that the journey is worthwhile.
Nothing gives me more satisfaction than seeing a client realize the change they've long desired.
